So these are my options:
i) Save up all of my allowance for a year (wich would only total to $780), scrounge up any odd chores for extra moolah, save all birthday and christmas money, and hope to Jesus Fisher that it goes down in price.
OR (the more sensible option)
ii) Get a job.
here's the problem(s)
in possibility (i), it will take me a very, very, *very* long time, and i'm not allowed to spend any money that i earn.
in possibility (ii), i will make money faster, *BUT* you have to be 15 or 16 to get a decent part time job.
The upside?
My friend's parents own *two* Tim Hortons and she says she can get me in.
The Ups of working at Timmy's
You rack up a shit load of tips!
You get to eat yummylicious food!
You get to smell like coffee!
You get *paid!*
The Downs of working at Timmy's
You are the only one of your friends with a job....(well its not like i have a social life anyways so...)
You are around food all day :|
You get to smell like coffee (i swear my cousin always smells like Timmy's)
You will be harassed immensly by your friends if they go there while you are working.
You will be harassed immensely by your parents if they "Forget" that you work at that specific TIm Hortons, and also "Forget" that you were on duty.
It will be a tough mission, but i NEED (!) a laptop, especially a Macbook.
